At the heart of every church is the coming together as a community of Christians to worship and fellowship.
We are called to come together– and we firmly believe this. We don’t want to keep people away from the church when people expect or need it. One thing we as a church have noticed is that people in our day have stopped coming to church and think they can do it on their own. We urge you not to think that, but come in to a church (whether it be here or somewhere else) that will welcome, encourage, help strengthen, and challenge your walk with Christ. To facilitate in meeting together, we have two separate services on Sundays (morning and evening) with Bible study/Sunday School before the service on Sunday morning. We also have a service dedicated to prayer on Wednesdays. We have members from all around the Athens area from Jackson, Oconee, and Madison counties, as well as from Athens. Come join us for worship, prayer, and Bible study today!
And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. (Hebrews 10:24-25 ESV)
